A great big thank you to our discussion leaders Ben Carls and Villiappan Muthukaruppan from Exelon and Andrew Barrington from Avista and to all of our members who participated in the roundtable discussion on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.  You all made it a fantastic interactive conversation with participation from multiple member utilities centered around the following questions:

·        How do utilities identify customers who currently have an electric vehicle?

·        What is being done to extrapolate the model to then predict where future EV stations are needed, keeping an equitable distribution across socio-economic neighborhoods.

·        How are utilities training models so they are relevant to a large region?

·        What categories of data are utilities obtaining or purchasing from third parties and what are they doing to test the accuracy of the data, including the validity of survey responses?
